Aurora Aksnes (born June 15, 1996, in Stavanger) is an Norwegian musician and vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the record label Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise by music journalists and media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are among her most well-known recordings. Katy Perry's endorsement of her track Runaway in a blog post brought the singer additional acknowledgement. It was her birthday celebration. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was when she discovered a keyboard within her loft and being amazed by the music. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes encouraged her to use music for personal growth, rather than to earn a living or to pursue an interest. She began to write with her own music. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her most favored songwriters. In response to her mother's suggestions that she ought not to aim at achieving fame through her songwriting, but instead recognize the significance of their lives and their impact on society. The mother of her child suggested that she be able to perform her music publicly in order to help people realize their own importance and how they can affect the world. They didn't even be aware until fourteen. Aurora isn't something she imagined as a child. The only thing she loves is to write music. For her, the music she writes is her way of feeling anything.
