Kim Delaney, an American actress, is best known for her character the character Detective Diane Russell on ABC's NYPD Blue series, for which she received the Emmy Award. Her other credits include her roles in the drama All My Children Philly CSI: Miami and Army Wives. Born as the only daughter to a top executive from the United Auto Workers and a housewife, Delaney grew up with her four brothers.
