Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist, and competing within the UFC flyweight division. She is older than her fellow UFC Fighter and Former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's combat sport career began in the form of a Muay Thai fighter. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title before being defeated by Suzane Mller with a majority vote. Antonina followed it up with a silver-medal in 2007 a bronze medal in 2008 and a gold award in 2011 and the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonia began her professional career at the age of 2003. She took home the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships 2012 and the Lightweight Lion Fight Championships in 2016 as well as both the WMC World Championships and Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina was last in action against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas, in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The winner was by a unanimous decision. Antonina Shevchenko made her professional MMA record in 2002 at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. She took the win via a second round TKO, and then won 2 more fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to get a 3-0 record. Shevchenko took a break from MMA so that she could focus on kickboxing. She returned against Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa with a unanimous verdict and beat Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in 2017. In 2018, she resigned from the tournament and started competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko was matched against Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina's formidable strike abilities allowed her to TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. After this win, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina Shychenko made her debut in the UFC at the Heavy Hitters event of TUF finals against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko lost to Roxanne modafferi in a split decision following her first fight. Antonina returned to the ring after her loss and beat Lucie Pudddilova on UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission during the second round. The bout earned Antonina the Bonus Fight of the Night. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner in her next 3-fights beating Ariane Lipski and falling to Katlyn Chookagian and Andrea Lee. Recently Antonina fell to Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos against. Walker via second-round TKO.
