She was in charge of assessing national security threats, conducting classified investigations into suspected foreign agents, and conducting undercover investigations. Asha was trained in electronic surveillance as well as interviewing, interrogation and firearms. Asha received the Fulbright scholarship to study constitutional reform in Bogota Columbia following her graduation with distinction from Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. She graduated from Yale Law School as a Coker Fellow and was a legal assistant on behalf of Juan R. Torruella at the U.S. Court of Appeals First Circuit of San Juan Puerto Rico. She has been admitted to the State Bar of New York (2003) and Connecticut (2003). Asha is a former legal correspondent for ABC News, has contributed editorials and op-eds in The New York Times The Wall Street Journal The Washington Post as well as various other publications. She also serves as an officer on the board of directors for Just Security as well as the Council of Foreign Relations.
